Joan will go in-depth and make recommendations on how to use traditional media, including daily and weekly newspapers, industry publications, business journals, consumer magazines and industry magazines.
Book marketing got easier with the wide variety of book review and book recommendation sites such as Goodreads.com. Goodreads, for example, has its own Author Marketing Program and encourages authors to use a variety of tools and features at the site to promote themselves and their books.
Need publicity for a book launch? Joan will bring plenty of tips. If there’s time, she’ll also do a few hot seats with lucky authors who need help brainstorming publicity ideas. She’ll call on audience members to help her.
